Item Description
Patented February 9th, 1909 by John Igelstroem Co. This is an extremely rare three panel diecut featuring a Canvasback Duck, brown bear and a squirrel in a tree. There is one panel for shotguns, big game rifles and small game rifles. The piece measures 15 x 21 and has never been folded. The piece has the original instructions on the reverse and shows light soiling with some light corner and edge wear overall. This is an extremely rare Winchester item with the original string still attached. You will be hard pressed to find a more unique Winchester diecut anywhere. In our last auction we sold the version of this diecut of which there are seven known examples. There are no examples of this piece known or pictured in any reference book that we are aware of. This piece shows slightly brighter colors with the corners being slightly more worn than the previous piece. Both pieces are out of the same collection and have not seen the light of day for 25 years. NEW WORLD RECORD PRICE!!
