Lot 4.             Cherokee North Carolina Doll Chair; Early 20th Century; 17.75 inches in height, completely all handmade, has five slats in back rest with beautiful turned finials, missing woven seat, minor scratches and chips otherwise excellent; Provenance: Private Collection Winston Salem NC

Lot 5.             Antique Inlay Shaker Three Finger Sewing Box; 19th Century; height is 4.5 inches from bottom to top of handle, height of box without handle is 2.125 inches, 5.5 inches by 3.25 inches oval, outstanding example, has swing handle with copper rivets, fingers are constructed with wooden pegs, interior of box has evidence of lined with cotton and silk, lid has a very unusual five step ladder or window with three types of wood, condition: overall is excellent and all original, very tight, has minor dust stains on lid, very minor chip on edge of lid, very minor crack in handle, otherwise excellent, comment: the finest early American sewing box we have ever encountered; Provenance: descended thru Bradford family Spring City Chester County, PA

Lot 150.       The Finest Alamance County, NC Redware Pottery 3 Gallon Jug; Early 19th Century; 14.5 inches in height, base of jug measures 5.5 inches in diameter, mid body circumference 32.5 inches, this example was discovered in the township of Kimesville NC located in Southern Alamance County, The size of this jug is very significant and surviving for over 200 years, The beautiful orange and green oxidation glaze throughout is outstanding with minor scratches and very minor loss, The beautiful strap handle has six light ribbed grooves, top of spout has a very finely potted half inch shaped collar, base of jug had evidence of a pronounced rim, the beauty of this jug to me is the early ovoid form, I will leave the attribution up to the experts, I personally believe this example is late 18th century made by the Quakers that settled in Snow Camp NC; Condition has very minor glaze flakes at top of spout, minor scratches at mid body, two very shallow glaze flakes at mid body, three very small open glaze bubbles in body, pronounced rim at base has many chips, This example is the largest and finest true Alamance County jug that I have ever seen; Provenance: Collection of Jon Lambert Alamance NC
