Auctioneers Note: A&M Auctions is pleased to offer the Estate of Elizabeth Jane Miles and the contents of her home better known as the “The Levin B. Hall House” in Upper Fairmount, MD. The home was built sometime around 1840 and much of the contents are original to the home. The house and contents have received much notoriety having been visited by state governors and also featured in the 1980’s wonderworks film “Jacob Have I Loved” staring Bridget Fonda. There is an exquisite selection of Eastern Shore of MD antiques and primitives. The home is so packed full of historically important matters that the late Elizabeth Miles had plans to turn it into a public museum shortly before her passing.  Allen and Marshall Auctions is pleased to bring the contents of the home to a one of a kind public auction and cordially invite you to bid at a once in lifetime On-Line Auction.   

Directions: At the intersection of Rt. 50 & Forest Grove Rd., in Parsonsburg, turn North onto Forest Grove Rd. and follow for 0.5 miles to Old Ocean City Rd. Right onto Old O. C. Rd. and follow for 1.2 miles to Esham Rd. Left onto Esham Rd. and follow for 1.2 miles to burgundy/tan building on left. Signs Posted.

Online Bidding

Online Bidding: This is an Online Only Auction held on the A&M Auctioneers website. Early Pre-Bidding will open on or around the 1st of December, 2017. You will be able to bid at any time up until the closing time for each individual items which will start at 5 PM on Wednesday Jan. 17th, 2018. 1 lot will end Approx. every 30-45 seconds. This Auction will feature a soft closing. If someone bids in the last minute before an item closes the bidding on that item only will be extended for 1 minute. This will give you a chance to bid again. This process will continue until one person stops bidding or doesn’t bid before the time runs out.

Personal Property Preview: Two open house preview days will be held on Friday January 12th from 4 PM – 6 PM and Monday January 15th from 4 PM – 6 PM.

Pick Up Date: Items must be picked up at the Auction Site on Friday January 19th from 12noon-6pm. Buyer is responsible for removing all items. Allen & Marshall Auctioneers and Appraiser’s does not ship items, however shipping is available through the UPS Pack and Ship Store of Salisbury, MD or a shipper of buyer’s choice. Buyer is responsible for bringing any required manpower, tools, boxes, wrapping paper, blankets, wheel cart or dollies needed to remove your items from the property.
