Charlotte Court House ,VA

INTERNET BIDDING FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE

OVER 550 LOTS!!!!

Mrs. Jones was a prominent member of Charlotte County for many years. She and her beloved husband, L.M., were very active in the local community. Together they ran a successful lumber business,a Phillips 66 station, and managed a large farm where they raised cattle. They were members of the historical Village Presbyterian Church in Charlotte Courthouse and made their home nearby at the beautiful Villeview estate, a stately early 19th century brick home, once owned by WWI Major John D. Guthrie. The estate is part of the Charlotte Courthouse Historical District and is on the National Register of Historic Places. As you can see, over their lifetime Mr. and Mrs. Jones filled their home with a wonderful, diverse collection of antiques and collectibles, containing an assortment of many different categories of items. We are truly humbled to have been selected to serve as the auction firm of choice for this event. We hope you will join us at the open house on November 13 from 1PM-5PM and tour the many unique items from this historic estate, and make plans to purchase a piece of Charlotte County history.
