Saturday March 11 at 10 am!
Judy and the late Cordie Ward were very active with many varied interests. At one time they owned and operated a framing shop. They also ran Catawba Clay, a pottery studio and teaching center.Due to Cordie's death we will sell the stored contents of the families former pottery and framing businesses. The auction will include kilns, potter's wheels, slab & wedging tables, glazes, potters clay, potters tools & supplies. Pottery & unfinished pottery items plus much, much, more!
If you make pottery, teach pottery or simply enjoy pottery this is the auction that you can not afford to miss!
We've gathered these items together we will provide a better list & photographs. The pottery has been closed for several years & items are currently scattered in various storage areas on the family farm. Everything has been kept under roof but scattered in a manner that we can not accurately determine exactly what is there or how much is there!
The auction will include:
* Skutt automatic kiln model km-1027 240 volts ac2 watts
* Paragon high fire kiln model P
* Propane gas fired Raku kiln on wheeled cart
* Duncan Energy Saver Ceramic kiln The Teacher model es 820-2

Plus much, much, more! The Wards had planned to re-open the pottery there in Sharon but it never was to be. Pardon the poorer than normal picture quality! The buildings are stacked and packed and difficult to move around in. Between our doing two sales at this location and Judy packing to move we have done the very best we can do!
