1 - Montana, Idaho, Wyoming Arrowheads & Artifacts The lot features a collection of 72 artifacts. The collection includes various Montana, Wyoming, & Idaho (North West) hafted artifacts including spear points, arrowheads, bird points, scrapers, & more. Most of the collection appears to be of ancient or early age. The artifacts and beads have been adhered to a foam backing and displayed in a glass top case that is 12 3/8"x16 3/8". The case can be displayed vertically or horizontally. Some of the points have an unknown origin and age. Pieces have been adhered, but might shift.

2 - 14K Gold Flat Pearl Necklace This is a 14K gold and flat pearl necklace. The necklace features 39 beautiful flat pearls, including the one set in 14K gold for the clasp. Each of the pearls has been hand selected for its matching color, size and quality. The pearl necklace is in good condition. It measures 17.5" long.

3 - Navajo Discoidal Turquoise Necklace This is a Navajo discoidal turquoise necklace. The necklace features perfectly matched turquoise discs set apart by turquoise beads. The necklace is in good condition. The discs measure .75" in diameter and the necklace is 23" long.

4 - Hiatts Handcuff Collection w/ Keys This is two pairs of Hiatts handcuffs with keys. The blued pair is marked 'Hiatts Made in England" and the other pair is marked "Hiatts 1960 British Made". Both sets of handcuffs are in good condition and come with a working key. The larger pair measures 3" x 10'.

5 - Navajo Sterling Turquoise Needle Point Necklace This is a Navajo sterling silver and turquoise needle point necklace. The necklace has been beautifully crafted with a wonderful needle point design. The back of the necklace is marked "Sterling" and has been signed "BY". The Navajo necklace is in good condition. The pendant measures 3.25" x 3.5".

6 - Navajo Turquoise Nugget Silver Bracelet EXCELLENT This is a Navajo Native American Indian Turquoise nugget and Old Pawn Silver bracelet or cuff. The early piece shows wonderful bright turquoise polished nugget stones with a wonderful worked silver construction and rope silver. The piece shows good condition. Measures (shipping) 1.5" x 3"W x 1 7/8"H with a 6.5" inside circumference wrist size.

7 - Northern Plains Document Flat Bag w/ 19th C. Beads The lot features an excellent Northern Plains Native American Indian beaded document flat bag. The piece shows a wonderful fully beaded front with exquisite19th century glass trade seed beads in greasy yellow, Hudson Bay red white hearts, semi-transparent green, semi-transparent dark blue. The piece has a Indian tanned hide construction with braided rawhide top strap and long cut fringe having tin jingle cones. The piece displays very well and is truly a museum quality artifact. Measures overall 7 7/8" W x 14" L. Exact age and origin is unknown.

8 - Haida Sterling North West Coast Totem Bracelet This is a Haida North West Coast Native American Indian carved sterling silver bracelet or cuff. The piece has a carved totem style figure across the piece and shows very good condition. Measures (shipping) 2.75"W x 2.25"H x 1.25"D. The bracelet has a 8" inside circumference wrist size. Exeedingly rare original Haida Indian Sterling Silver Piece.

9 - Pre-Columbian Native American Stone Mano This pre-Columbian piece is from the south western United States. This piece comes with a certificate of authenticity from Bennett's Artifact Authentication. It is in good condition and is truly a museum quality piece. It measures 6 13/16" L x 1 9/16" W

10 - Navajo Sterling Silver & Turquoise Belt Buckle This belt buckle features a impressive amount of tooling and turquoise. The silver design is a leaf pattern that features heavy tooling. The turquoise is a fine example of Royston turquoise. It is in good condition for its age. It is marked "Sterling." It measures 5" W x 4" H

10a - Signed Navajo Sterling Silver & Turquoise Bracelet The signed Navajo silver and turquoise bracelet features a heavily tooled leaf design and five turquoise gems. The turquoise is from the Royston mine. The piece is in good condition. It measures 2 1/2" ID

11 - Mounted Rattlesnake Skin With Rattle This lot features a mounted rattlesnake skin with rattle. The skin is mounted on a stunning piece of reclaimed wood. The snake itself measures over 55" in length. Due to pattern on the rattlesnakes back it is believe to be a diamondback rattlesnake. The mount has a excellent look for a rustic decor. It is in good condition for its age. Measures: 63" H x 10" W

12 - Early American Barrel Oscillating Butter Churn This lot features an antique butter churn. The churn still has its original, intricate lid. Has a stunning rustic look, making it a excellent decor piece. The pieces appears to bear its original markers logo but it is heavy faded. The overall condition of the butter churn is good for its age. Measures: 31" H x 18" D x 26" W

13 - Handcuff and Leg Iron Collection with Keys This is a collection of three pairs of handcuffs and leg irons. Included are a pair of handcuffs and leg irons marked "Valor". The other pair of handcuffs is marked "Bianchi Model 505". All three pairs are in good condition and come with a working key. The largest pair measures 4" x 23.5".

14 - Native American Stone Tool Artifact Collection This is collection of Native American stone tool artifacts. These pieces were in a private collection with artifacts recovered in Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota. The tools have been hand worked with some showing a wide groove for attaching to a handle. The artifacts are in good condition. The largest one measures 3.5" x 6.5".

16 - Apache Willow Branch Woven Basket This apache willow branch basket is a impressive piece of Native American weaving. It features vegetable dyed reds and whites that show vividly. The baskets weave is tight and shows little wear for its age. Overall the condition is good and shows few breaks. It measures 23" H x 19" D

17 - Early Navajo Yei Rug circa 1920s This lot features an early Navajo Yei rug. The Yei Navajo rugs begin in the Northwest corner of the reservation, in the early part of the 20 century. Developed by Will Evans Trader and owner of the Shiprock trading Company. Yei are religious deities taken from the Navajo Sand paintings. But these weavings do not have any religious significance. In these weavings the male Yei have round heads & the female Yei have square heads. Usually the these weaving have a stylized rainbow down the sides and across the bottom and no border. The pattern and style assort this rug with the Shiprock area of the reservation. The rug date the early 1920s and has a good tight weave. It is in good condition for its age. Measures: 44" L x 34" W

18 - Pre-Columbian Indian Hardstone Celt c. 2500 BP This pre-Columbian Native American hardstone celt comes with a certificate of authenticity from Ground Work Relics. The piece is a large sized adena rounded poll celt and dates to the early woodland time period. Because of its large size this celt has seen little to no use. This museum quality piece is in overall good condition. It measures 6 1/4" L x 2 3/8" W

19 - Northern Plains Indian Arrowhead Collection This is an extensive collection of Northern Plains Indian arrowheads. There are three large arrowheads in the center surrounded by progressively smaller arrowheads and bird points. This is wonderful collection that shows good condition. The display measures 12.25" x 16.25".

20 - Northern Plains Indian Arrowhead Collection This is a collection of Northern Plains Indian arrowheads. The display shows a large knapped arrowhead in the center with smaller points arranged around it with glass and bone trade beads. The arrowheads are set in a beautiful gilt frame. The frame measures 11" x 13.25".

21 - Navajo Branch Coral Necklace This is a Navajo branch coral necklace. The necklace features a beautiful selection of branch coral that is well matched in color and quality. The coral is accented nicely by the silver and shell beads. The Navajo coral necklace is in good condition. It measures 20" long.

22 - Navajo Silver Saucer Turquoise Nugget Necklace This is a Navajo silver saucer bead and turquoise nugget necklace. The necklace features beautiful Morenci and Stone Mountain Turquoise nuggets with silver saucer beads. The Navajo necklace is in good condition. It measures 24" long.

23 - 4.1ct. Oregon Sunstone Oval Cut Gemstone This is an Oregon Sunstone oval cut gemstone. The sunstone shows fantastic hues of pink, orange and yellow in this beautifully cut and faceted piece. The Oregon Sunstone is in good condition. It measures 10mm x 12mm and weighs 4.1 carats.

24 - 22.73ct. Blue Topaz Oval Cut Gemstone This is a Blue Topaz oval cut gemstone. The topaz has been beautifully cut and faceted. It shows a wonderful deep, rich color. The topaz gemstone is in good condition. It measures 20mm x 15mm and weighs 22.73 carats.

25 - CFK Damascus Buffalo Horn Knife & Scabbard The lot features a hand forged and folded authentic Damascus steel blade. This is a CFK Cutlery Company custom hand made in the USA knife. The knife has a Great American Bison Buffalo horn handle with brass and stainless steel. The knife is a one of a kind uniquely created piece in very good condition. The piece also has very rare Vine File Work around the spine of the handle and blade all done by hand. The blade shows a hand forged folded 512 Layer Twist (1095HC/15N20) Damascus Steel. The knife is in good, unused condition. The knife measures 9" with a 4.25" blade.

26 - 39.95ct. Golden Citrine Pear Cut Gemstone This is a Golden Citrine pear cut gemstone. The citrine has been beautifully cut and faceted. It shows great color and clarity. The gemstone measures 20mm x 25mm and weighs 39.95 carats.

27 - Salvador Dali Melting Clock Etching 1968 This is an original Salvador Dali etching titled "Melting Clock". The etching shows a melting clock draped over the branches of a tree. The piece is signed in the etching and the plate and was originally distributed through The Collector's Guild Ltd. The Dali etching is in good condition. The etching itself measures 4.75" x 6.75" and the frame measures 15.5" x 18.5".

28 - Rare 1st Ed. Sitting Bull Book & Salesman Sample This is an original rare first edition of "Sitting Bull and the Indian War" by W. Fletcher Johnson with a original sales sample . The front cover is exquisite showing a portrait of Sitting Bull with an Indian War scene below and Major General Miles, U.S. Deputy Bartlett. Marked on the cover Ghost Dance. This book was printed in 1891. It tells the story of Sitting Bull and his tragic death. The book contains several illustrations as well. The sales man sample is a a even more rare piece. This would have been sent out to garner sales for the full size book. The sample has two original publisher notes and also representations of what the full book has. The books are in good condition with a fantastic designed covers. Both measure 5.5" x 8.

29 - Original WWII Era Watercolor Painting This is an original WWII era watercolor painting. The painting shows a sailor and a nurse holding a baby. The painting is in good condition. It does have some minor foxing and damage as shown. The painting measures 17.75" x 22".

30 - Mike Mahoney Oil on Canvas Painting This is an original oil on canvas painting by Mike Mahoney. The painting is titled "Sunset Season" and shows an abstract depiction of trees in the Autumn with leaves changing colors. It has been placed in a wonderful gilt frame. The painting was sold in 1997 for $1000. It shows good overall condition. It has been signed by the artist in the lower left corner. The frame measures 25.5" x 29.25".

31 - Custom Carved Antler Handle Eagle Knife This is a custom made knife that features a carved antler handle and a curved blade. The handle is a carved eagle head with an inlaid turquoise stone. The curved blade has been signed by the maker on both sides. The custom made knife is in good condition. It measures 10" long with a 4.25" blade.

32 - Western Tooled Leather Rifle Scabbard This is an antique tooled leather rifle scabbard There are beautifully tooled animals carved into the leather including: elk, bear, mountain lion, steer head, buffalo, and cow. The animals are accented by the floral design carved in the scabbard. The Western leather scabbard is in good condition. It measures 5.5" x 38".

33 - Montana & Wyoming Beer Can Tray Collection This is a Highlander Beer can and tray from Missoula, Montana and a Sheridan Export Beer can from Sheridan, Wyoming. Both Highlander pieces show the plaid pattern. The beer cans are in fair condition and the tray shows good condition. The tray measures 13" in diameter.

34 - Montana Cone Top Beer Can Collection This is a collection of three Montana cone top beer cans. Included is a Butte Special Beer, Kessler Beer, and Rocky Mountain Beer. The beer cans are in fair condition with moderate wear and rust. Each can measures 2.75" in diameter and is 5.5" tall.

35 - Montana Tanned Elk Hide This is a tanned Montana elk hide. This hide is in good condition. It shows great color with little to no loss of fur. The hide would make an excellent decor piece suitable to hang on a wall or use as a rug. The Montana elk hide measures 81" L x 73" W

36 - French Cruise Liner Wool Deck Blanket c.1947 This wool blanket from the French cruise liner company Compagnie Générale Transatlantique is a very cool piece of luxury travel history. This French cruise line was foundered in 1861. It was a major part of French cruise ship industry, having many successful ventures, such as providing postal service and luxury voyages. The company generally was not known for the largest or fastest ships, but for the most luxuriously appointed ships. The blanket features a bright plaid design with red, greens, yellows and several other colors. This wool blanket is in good condition for its age. It measures 62" L x 55 3/4" W

36a - French Cruise Liner Wool Deck Blanket c.1947 This wool blanket from the French cruise liner company Compagnie Générale Transatlantique is a very cool piece of luxury travel history. 37 - Early Molesworth Style Book Newspaper Stand This lot features a early Thomas Molesworth style book newspaper stand. The stand was made by a Molesworth competitor and local artist Clyde Anderson. The piece was made in Billings MT. The stand has excellent wood grain and a striking design. Great for rustic or cabin decor. The stand is in good condition for its age. Measures: 16 1/2" W x 28 " H x 9 1/2" D

37a - Early Molesworth Style Mechanical Book Stand This is a mechanical book stand made in the early Molesworth style by Clyde Anderson of Billings, Montana. The rustic log design of the piece shows a unique Western appeal. The book stand is in good condition. It measures 6.5" x 16.5" and is 7.5" tall.

38 - Southern Plains Indian Coup Staff 19th Century This is an excellent Southern Plains Native American Indian wood coup staff or stick from circa late 19th century. The staff shows a rich wood with red ocher mineral dyed and the back edge is lined with yellow ocher mineral painted effigy figures of a snake, lizzard, cross, and others. The coup staff shows sinew rawhide wrapped constuction with Buffalo Bison hair accents and various Turkey feather fringe pieces. Overall a very well crafted original piece. Provenance: The piece is from a large Native American Indian artifact private collection in Saskatchewan, Canada and was purchased in Canada. Measures overall 60.25"L x 6.75"W.

39 - Early Chinese Carved Bat Motif Table 18th-19th C. This is an exceptional early Chinese carved bat motif table from the 17th to 19th century. The table has beautifully carved bat accents throughout showing incredibly fine detail. The table displays exceptional quality and artistic craftsmanship. Each leg showsa hanging bat hand carved adornment with hand carved trim showing a winged bat on each end with their tongues tied in knots creating the trim. This table came from the estate of Elias Boudinot. Elias Boudinot IV (B.1740-1821) was the fourth President of the United States Continental Congress from 1782 to 1783. Boudinot was a Member of the Continental Congress (1777-1788; 1781-1784), served in the First Congress of 1789, he signed the Treaty of Paris with Great Britain ending the Revolutionary War as at the time he was the acting President. Boudinot was also the Commissary-General of Prisoners and in 1795 was appointed as Third Director of the United States Mint by George Washington. The table shows good condition. It measures 19.25" x 33.5" and is 11.5" tall. One of the more unique Chinese carved tables.

41 - Antique Montana Polished Garnet Necklace This is an antique set of Montana polished garnet necklace. The necklace shows dozen's of beautiful rich red to purple Montana garnets in a thick cord like design with a brass clasp. The necklace shows very good condition and wonderful quality. Measures 18 3/8" L

42 - Montana Tanned Buffalo Hide This is a tanned Montana buffalo hide. The buffalo has been prepared by a professional taxidermist. It shows deep, rich color and shows good overall condition. The buffalo hide measures 83" L x 90" W

43 - Montana Black Bear Hide With Claws This lot features a Montana black bear hide. The hide includes its original claws. The hide has a dark cinnamon. It does not appear to be experience shedding. The bear was taken in Montana. It is in good overall condition for its age. Measures: 62" L x 29" W

44 - Trophy Montana Cinnamon Tone Black Bear Hide This lot features a Montana taken cinnamon tone black bear hide. The hide still has a majority of its claws. It was professionally tanned. The piece does not appear to be experiencing shedding. The bear was taken in Montana. It is in fair condition for its age. Measures: 76" L x 56" W

45 - Trophy Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep Skull w/ Horns This is a trophy Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep ram skull w/ horns. The horns shows nearly a full curl with impressive size. One horn has a girth of 14.25" and the other is 15.75". The outside length of the horns is 34" x 36". The left horn has a plug placed by Fish & Game. The ram skull and horns are in good condition. The horns have a spread of 24.25" wide.

46 - Chippewa Beaded Bag C. 1890-1920 This lot features a Chippewa beaded bag circa 1890-1920. The bag has glass trade beads in a stunning geometric pattern. The Ojibwe, Ojibwa, or Chippewa are an Anishinaabeg group of indigenous peoples in North America. They live in Canada and the United States and are one of the largest Indigenous ethnic groups north of the Rio Grande. According to Ojibwe oral history and from recordings in birch bark scrolls, the Ojibwe originated from the mouth of the St. Lawrence River on the Atlantic coast of what is now Quebec. They traded widely across the continent for thousands of years as they migrated, and knew of the canoe routes to move north, west to east, and then south in the Americas. The identification of the Ojibwe as a culture or people may have occurred in response to contact with Europeans. The Europeans preferred to deal with bounded groups and tried to identify those they encountered. This piece has been in family collection for over 100 years. It is in good condition for its age. Measures: 8 1/2" H x 5 3/4" W

47 - 1900's Iowa Mesquaki Sac & Fox Beaded Choker This lot features an Iowa Mesquaki Sac & Fox beaded choker. The piece has striking bead work with glass trade beads. The piece ha rare red white heart trade beds. It is in a protective case. The overall condition of the piece is good for its age. Measures: 12 1/4" H x 8 1/4" W

48 - Montana Rocky Mountain Elk Hide This lot features a Montana taken rocky mountain elk hide. The hide was professionally tanned by a taxidermist. the hide does not appear to be experiencing shedding and has a great tone. The hide is in good condition for its age. Measures: 77" L x 66" W

49 - Early Rawhide Snowshoes This is a pair of early snowshoes. The snowshoes are marked "The Sportsman's Guide 10 x56 Made in Canada". They feature solid white ash framed with rawhide lacing and newer style leather and strap bindings. The snowshoes are in good condition. They measure 10" x 56".

50 - Ancient Ute Indian Pottery Vessel This lot features an ancient Ute Indian pottery vessel. The piece was recovered in Northern Utah Idaho border C. 1930's. Before Mexican settlers arrived, the Utes occupied significant portions of what are today eastern Utah, western Colorado, including the San Luis Valley, and parts of New Mexico and Wyoming. The Utes were never a unified group within historic times; instead, they consisted of numerous nomadic bands that maintained close associations with other neighboring groups. Some of the largest known groups were the Capote, Moache, Moanumts, Parianuche, Taviwach, Weeminuche, and Yamperika. Also the Uintah or Uinta, Uncompahgre tribe and White River Utes. Unlike many other tribal groups in this region, the Utes have no tradition or evidence of historic migration to the areas now known as Colorado and Utah. Ancestors of the Ute appear to have occupied this area or nearby areas for at least a thousand years. Evidence of this include pottery such as the one here. the piece is in good condition for its age. Measures: 8 1/2" H x 5" Diameter

51 - Thomas Mangelsen Framed Owl Photograph This is an original Thomas Mangelsen framed photograph. The photo shows an owl resting on an evergreen branch. Mangelsen has gained worldwide recognition for his nature photography with numerous exhibits and awards for his works. This photograph is numbered 36/2500 and shows good condition. The photo has been professionally framed. The frame measures 23.25" x 29.25".

52 - 219ct. Labradorite Cabochon This is a large labradorite cabochon. The piece shows astonishing color and flash with a rainbow of colors that gives way to a beautiful blue and green color. The cabochon is in good condition. It measures 1.875" x 2.75".

53 - Early 1900s Original Yellowstone Photograph This is an original photograph of Yellowstone National Park from the early 1900's. The photo was taken in Gardiner at the North Entrance to Yellowstone. The foreground of the photo shows the Northern Pacific Railroad depot. Behind the depot is a general store and the Roosevelt Arch which was completed in August of 1903. The Yellowstone photograph is in good condition. The photo measures 6" x 8" and the frame measures 11.75" x 13.5".

54 - Champion Spark Plug Service Flange Sign RARE 1940 This is a rare original double sided flanged Champion Spark Plug Service sign. The rare piece is from circa 1940's and shows the bow tie like Champion Spark Plugs logo with red and black background and is the most iconic known pattern. This sign is in good condition for its age with minor chips around the edges. The color shows well and there are no bends in the metal. It measures 18 1/4" W x 12" T

55 - Litening Gas Yale Oil Co Billings MT Advertisement This is an original exceedingly rare Litening Gasoline advertisement from Montana. This is a paper advertisement that has been matted and framed. Litening Gasoline was produced by the Yale Oil Corporation in Billings, Montana in the 1930's and 1940's. The Litening Gasoline advertisement is in good condition. The piece shows iconic Litening Gas text along the center with a man riding a mighty horse and an hourglass globe covering the nude figure. The advertisement has many great factors including the "Super Powered Litening Gasoling", mention of Hancock Motor Oil, Billings Montana, and the Yale Oil Corporation. One of the piece's taglines is as such, "Fell the thriling "zip and go" that Superpowered Litening gives your motor. For Litening is Superpowered-giving your motor "horsepower to spare." The frame measures 18.75" x 22.75".

56 - Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Cuff Bracelet This is a Navajo sterling silver with turquoise cuff bracelet. The bracelet features a wonderful hand tooled design with five large Sleeping Beauty Turquoise stones set in sterling silver. The back of the piece is signed "SS". The Navajo turquoise cuff is in good condition. It measures 2" x 2.75" and is 1 7/8" wide.

57 - Montana, Idaho, Wyoming Arrowheads & Artifacts The lot features a collection of 44 artifacts and 20 wound glass blue/amber trade beads. The collection includes various Montana, Wyoming, & Idaho hafted artifacts including spear points, arrowheads, bird points, scrapers, & more. Most of the collection appears to be of ancient or early age. The display shows the 20 rare wound glass early 18th-19th century trade beads in blue and amber. The beads show a wide opening (origin is unknown). The artifacts and beads have been adhered to a foam backing and displayed in a glass top case that is 8.25"x12.25" and 7/8" thick. The case can be displayed vertically or horizontally. Some of the points have an unknown origin and age. Pieces have been adhered, but might shift.

58 - Osage Bow & Arrows 19th Century on Museum Display This is a wonderful early Osage Native American Indian carved and polychrome painted bow and arrows on an excellent metal museum display. The collection of three items are from the mid to late 19th century. The bow shows a wood construction with red, green, yellow and black mineral ocher painted accents along the front with a rounded smooth back. The arrows show forged iron arrowheads sinew wrapped onto a wood construction with three carved lines running down the arrow in blue, red, and green. The arrow also shows a rawhide sinew wrapped feather fletching with a red dye. All three piece shows an excellent well preserved museum quality condition. The bow is 41 3/8"L. Each arrow is 26.25"L with a 2.5"L arrowhead. Metal display is 2" deep.

This is a prohibition era tray that shows a beautiful young woman holding a tray with two glasses of beer. The tray does not have any markings other than from the manufacturer, "The H.D. Beach Co., Coshocton, Ohio". The beer tray is in good overall condition with some wear as shown. The tray measures 12" in diameter.

67 - Navajo Gallup Throw Rug Early 1900's This Navajo Gallup Throw shows a great geometric pattern and color. It is in good condition for its age, from the early 1900's. Gallup throws made with hand spun yarn are difficult to find today. Even through the early 1980’s there were quite a few weavers that made them, but they still, even with the time saving use of cotton warp, take quite a while to make. Today, no weaver is going to sit at a loom and weave a rug like this for what the public will pay. This is one small part of Navajo weaving that is disappearing. It measures 19 1/2" W x 37 1/2" L

69 - Crystal Pattern Navajo Native American Wool Rug This lot features an exceptional early Old Crystal Trading Post Navajo Native American Indian rug circa 1900. Originally the Old Crystal trading post was established in 1894, in this remote part of the Navajo Reservation Southwest of Two Grey Hills and Northwest of Gallup. In 1896 J.B. Moore purchased an interest in the trading post and re-named it Crystal after a pure sparkling mountain spring that was in the area. J.B. Moore realized the rugs being woven on the reservation needed to be upgraded. He started paying more for the rugs with better workmanship and design. This caused the weavers in the area to produce better quality rugs.Due to the remoteness of the Trading Post he started using a mail order catalog to sell his rugs to the Eastern market. The first catalog came out in 1903, with another in 1911. He left the reservation in 1911. During his stay at Crystal he greatly influenced the change in styles of Navajo rugs being produced at the Crystal Trading Post. It is in good condition for it's age. It measures 54" L x 31 1/2" W

The pendant and necklace are marked "375". The necklace was made by Haigh's in Queensland. The necklace comes with a certified appraisal for $4,800. The opal and gold necklace is in good condition. 74 - Whitetail Deer Boone & Crockett Ranked 2nd in 1954 This is an excellent very large trophy Whitetail Deer mount that was ranked 2nd in the world Boone & Crockett when it was taken. The mount was taken by Duane Graber in Tabor, South Dakota 1954 and scored 189 5/8 Boone & Crockett. In 1988 the trophy was still ranked in the top 8th world wide and today is believed to be in the top 10-25 in the world. The piece has been professionally mounted by a taxidermist and shows great quality. The record buck is in good condition for its age. Antlers are removable. Does included documentation. 78 - Blackfoot Batwing Cutout Pipe Tomahawk 19th C. This is an excellent Blackfoot Native American Indian single Batwing Cutout Pipe Tomahawk war club from circa mid to late 19th century. The hand-forged iron pipe tomahawk head shows the highly sought after batwing cut out with two holes above along the blade. The warclub shows a wood haft adorned with brass covered iron tacks and file burned brandings. Batwing Cutouts are some of the scarcer and most desirable of all tomahawk variations with very few known to be made. Some of these rare Batwing Tomahawks have sold at live auction from $35,000 to $50,000. Provenance: From a large private Native American Indian artifact and antique collection in Iowa. 79 - Plains Brass Spontoon Pipe Tomahawk 19th Century This is a wonderful early Plains Native American Indian spontoon pipe tomahawk from the mid to late 19th century. The exceptional piece features a Revolutionary War (1775-1783) Colonial American style Spontoon blade constructed of brass of a French European influence design. Pipe tomahawks with a solid brass head are very scarce and were highly desired due to their unique color, even though they did not hold their edge like the iron head counterparts. One side of the blade shows a religious four bar cross with each bar showing three rounded tips (the cross is brass and is adhered to the blade. The war club tomahawk shows a wood haft showing various file branding burns along the entire piece and brass covered iron tacks adorning the blade attachment. The mouth piece also shows file burns. The end has a glass trade bead drop on sinew. The tomahawk is 21”L with an 11”L x 4 3/16”W x 1 15/16”D head. The bowl shows a ¾” opening and is 1 3/8” deep. 80 - Sioux Beaded Tomahawk Drop 19th Century This is an excellent Sioux Native American Indian pipe tomahawk drop with excellent 19th century glass trade seed beadwork. The piece shows the traditional shape with an Indian tanned hide construction with long fringe. The front shows a red trade clothe accent with the impressive glass trade seed beads in chalk white, corn yellow, semi-transparent lavender and semi-transparent blue. The reverse shows a rich red ocher dye and overall the piece shows good condition. Measures 19"L with fringe and top strap. Triangular shape is 8"L x 4"W.

83 - Zapotec Indian Chinle Wool Rug This lot features a Zapotec Indian wool rug. It is in good condition for its age, showing little to no wear. The Zapotec civilization was an indigenous pre-Columbian civilization that flourished in the Valley of Oaxaca in Mesoamerica. When the Spanish first arrived in North America 400 years ago it was the Zapotecs they first taught there style of weaving to and then the Navajo Native American Indians. It has a wonderful multicolored design in the Navajo Chinle Style. The weaving is tight which allows for great detail. It measures 57" L x 29.5" W

106 - Sioux Beaded Sheath & J. Russell Bowie Knife 1840- The lot features a wonderful fully front beaded Sioux Native American Indian knife sheath with an exceedingly rare original J. Russell & Co. Green River Works Bowie knife. The knife shows the "J. Russell & Co. Green River Works" hallmark parallel with the hilt. John Russell founded his namesake cutlery circa early 1830's and by 1836 he moved the factory location to the Green River Massachusetts area. A fire delayed the factories success, but by circa 1840 with the help of Henry Clapp the factory was rebuilt and christened the "Green River Works" with all knives produced here hallmarked, "J. Russell & Co. Green River Works." This knife dates to post 1840 in the 19th century and is truly an excellent piece. The knife shows a unique bowie knife design with silver like hilt, bone handles having brass rivets. The sheath shows an immensely detailed and museum quality construction with Indian tanned hide covering a Parfleche rawhide base, all sinew sewn. The beadwork across the front shows all 19th century glass trade seed beads in sky blue, semi-transparent red, medium green, chalk white, greasy yellow, semi-transparent blue, Cheyenne pink. The sheath also shows a braided top strap and fully rope beaded long Indian tanned hide drop. Sheath is 27"L overall x 3 7/8"W. Knife is 13"L with an 8.25"x1.75" blade. The sheath has been professionally restored. The knife shows overall good condition with a slight bend in the blade. Civil War Era, Gold Rush Era, Westward Expansion Era. RARE.

107 - Crow Saddle Leather Tacked Sheath & 19th C. Knife This is a tacked saddle leather Crow Native American Indian knife sheath with an early 19th century large bowie like trade knife. The knife shows wood handles with iron and nickel rivets. The blade is marked along the left side, but the markings cannot be determined (but are original and early). The sheath shows early trade saddle harness leather construction with a brass covered iron tacked design. The knife is 15.25"L with a 10.25"L blade. Sheath and knife are 16.25"L x 4"W.

108 - Sioux Sheath & Pine Ridge Agency Knife 19th C. This is a wonderful Oglala Lakota Sioux beaded knife sheath with exceptionally rare original Pine Ridge Indian Agency Snake Brand Sheffield Bowie knife from the 19th century. The Red Cloud Agency was established in 1871 on the North Platte River near Fort Laramie in eastern Wyoming, primarily for the Oglala Sioux Indians. The agency was later moved to White Clay Creek in 1878 and was renamed the Pine Ridge Indian Agency at this time. The White Clay Creek Pine Ridge Indian Agency has been servicing the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, earlier called the Greater Sioux Reservation since its inception in 1871 (only a few years after the creation of the Greater Sioux Reservation in 1868). Pine Ridge Indian Reservation was established in 1889 by the Great Sioux Agreement of March 2, 1889, 25 Stat. 888 by the U.S. Congress essentially breaking up the Great Sioux Reservation (setting boundaries for six reduced reservations). The lot features an exceptionally rare authentic Snake Brand Sheffield England Bowie Knife with wood handles branded on both sides, “Pine Ridge Indian Agency”. The knife shows the snake and line hallmark and is marked, “Snake Brand Sheffield” (this is the increasingly scarcer larger Snake Brand knife). The sheath shows a Parfleche Rawhide construction wrapped in Indian tanned hide showing wonderful 19th century glass trade seed beads in chalk white, semi-transparent dark blue, green, semi-transparent pink, semi-transparent, semi-transparent padre blue, Cheyenne pink, and semi-transparent greasy yellow. The sheath also shows various tin jingle cone covered fringe pieces along the center. The piece shows very good well preserved condition. Knife is 13 5/8”L with a 9 1/16”L blade that is 1.75”W. Sheath is 15.5”L (with top strap) x 3.75”W.

109 - Pre-Columbian Indian Pottery Vessel This is a wonderful Pre-Columbian Native American Indian pottery vessel. The piece shows a red clay with much rich patina and overall very good condition for its early age. The vessel has a flared edge with some rim loss and rounded body. Measures 5"H x 6" diameter.

110 - Ancient & Mississippian Artifact Collection The collection includes various North American Indian ancient artifacts. The artifacts include a full groove axe head, full grove war club small hammer head, large full grove hammer head, discoidal grooved pestle like piece, stone plumb bob like piece, and a large mace/spud artifact. 113 - USAF Vietnam Pilots Automatic Camillus Knife This is a rare original US Air Force issue fighter pilots escape switchblade knife made by Camillus, New York USA. The knife needs only one had to operate with a spring assisted push button mechanism with lock. The piece also includes a hook knife used to cut the parachute cords in the event of being stuck upon emergency landing. The knife is in good condition for its age. Knife closed is 4 3/8", open is 7 3/8"L and has a 1 7/8" hook.

114 - 1914 History of Idaho by Hiram T. French This is a 1914 publication of the "History of Idaho" by Hiram T. French. This collection included all three volumes. The books provided a comprehensive and detailed history of Idaho including its founders and progressive members of its society that shaped the social and economic structure of the state. These books were published in 1914 by the Lewis Publishing Company. They are in good overall condition. Each volume shows some loose binding and pages. Each volume measures 8" x 10.75".

116 - Presentation Shotgun of General Lucas V. Beau This is a presentation shotgun of General Lucas Victor Beau. General Beau had a highly decorated military career, serving in both WWI and WWII. He retired from service as National Commander of the Civil Air Patrol in 1955. This shotgun was presented to the general on December 25, 1945. At the time, Beau was a Brigadier General serving in Wiesbaden, Germany. The 12 gauge shotgun was made by Bayard Arms Company. It features a beautifully carved stock with a mother of pearl grip cap. The shotgun was Belgian made and shows excellent quality and craftsmanship. The shotgun comes in the original presentation case made from solid oak and covered in leather. A brass plaque on the front reads "Lucas V. Beau Brig. Gen. U.S.A. 25 Dec. 45". The shotgun is in good condition. The case measures 9.5" x 33". Serial number 143659

117 - California Highway Patrol Smith & Wesson Revolver This is a California Highway Patrol service revolver made by Smith & Wesson. The revolver is a Victory model in the 38 S&W Special CTG caliber with custom Mershon grips. Included is a unique quick release Safety Speed holster made in Montebello, CA and an L&A Leather belt made in Hayward, CA. This is a service used revolver, belt, and holster. They all show good condition. The belt measures 43.5" long overall. Serial number V429452.

118 - German Walther Post WW2 P38/P1 9mm Military Pistol This is a German Walther P1 9mm military pistol made post WWII. The pistol features a parkerized finish with checkered grips. The slide is marked "Walther P1 Kal. 9mm 2/77". It is also marked by the importer "ERTD Belgrade MT". The pistol also shows the German military mark "BW". This pistol is in new, unfired condition and comes in the factory paper wrapping and includes two magazines and a camouflage military holster. The pistol measures 5.25" x 9". Serial number 384902

126 - Montana Crow Beaded Moccasins 20th Century This is an excellent set of floral beaded moccasins from the Montana Crow Native American Indians. The 20th century moccasins shows Indian tanned hide construction with a thick Buffalo hide sole and excellent glass trade seed beadwork in a stunning floral design. These are truly an excellently crafted set. Each shows good condition and measures 10.25"L sole. The moccasins have a museum like round tag that reads, "I.B. 0E0V5M7A!" possibly a museum catalog number.

126a - Pre-Columbian Indian Pottery Vessel The lot features an original early Pre-Columbian Native American Indian pottery vessel with pigment mineral red painted lower half. The piece shows overall good condition for its early age with some loss to the top edge. the bottom shows some patina. The top rim along the top and inside edge are also painted with the same pigment mineral red. Overall measures 7.5"H x 8.75" diameter.

127 - Early Mercantile Oak Store Cabinet 19th to 20th This is an excellent 19th to 20th century oak constructed mercantile store cabinet. The piece shows brass drawer pulls and a total of 32 matching sized drawers. The piece shows overall goof condition with most of the drawers moving in and out well (bottom right drawer is a little stiffer, but does function). The piece is truly a wonderful example of Early American Mercantile Industrial construction and displays very well. Measures 45.25”H x 58.75”W x 18.5”D.

135 - RARE Eddy Hulbert Signed Silver Mounted Spurs This is a pair of RARE antique signed Eddy Hulbert silver mounted spurs from Montana. The spurs are signed "EH" on the inside stationary strap button. The inside of each heel band is monogrammed "MTH". The outside of the heel bands shows extensive hand tooled silver overlay. Hulbert made his way to Wyoming as a youth in the early 1900's. He later became an accomplished blacksmith and silversmith. His spurs are highly sought after and regarded by collectors. These spurs are in good overall condition. One spur is missing a silver spot near the rowel as shown. The spurs measure 3.75" x 5.5".

136 - South Dakota & Missouri War Club Head Collection This is a collection of four original ancient Native American Indian club heads collected in South Dakota and Missouri. The first rare piece features a 5 7/8"L tapered Celt from the ex. collection of Gary Noel recovered in Butler County, Missouri. The next features a Hammer war club stone head recovered in Spink County, South Dakota. The lot also features a stone war club axe tomahawk head collected from Spink County, South Dakota. Lastly included in the lot is a large hammer war club stone head collected from Butler County, Missouri from the ex. collection of Gary Noel. The piece is worked copper in the shape of a turtle effigy and marked "HB" Hudson Bay Co. hallmark. The piece shows overall good condition. The pendant shows two otter effigy figures mirroring one another and kissing. The pendant shows two round brass coins with the "HB" mark on each. The pendant shows the crown and walking lion hallmarks. The necklace shows a copper, Russian faceted vasoline yellow early trade beads and various sand beads in a greasy yellow and blue coloring. 155 - Plains Indian Beaded War Shirt 20th Century This fine example of a plains Indian beaded war shirt features a beautiful beaded design. The glass trade beads colors are corn yellow, butterscotch yellow, chalk white, sky blue, navy blue, red, semi transparent iridescent, semi transparent violet, orange, and medium green. The beads are mounted to trade cloth that is then sowed to the trade cloth shirt, with beaded strips running down the back and front of the shoulders and the arms. The shirt is in good condition for its age, with few signs of wear. It measures 30" L x 19" shoulder to shoulder

156 - Martini-Henry .577/450 Breech Load Rifle This is an original Martini-Henry .577/450 breech load rifle. The Martini-Henry was put into service by the British Army in 1871 and was used for decades after. Many version sof the rifle were made including the Mark I, Mark II, Mark III, and Mark IV. The arrows show some of the original feather fletching sinew wrapped onto the wood arrows. Quiver is 21"L x 4 3/8"W. The longest arrow is 26.5"L.

161a - Plains Indian Trade Clothe Beaded Cuffs 1930-1950 This is a wonderful set of trade clothe and beaded cuffs from the Plains Native American Indians. The set is from circa 1930-1950's and shows matched beadwork with a geometric design in faceted early glass trade seed beads showing semi-transparent iridescent beads. The other side shows a floral design. Overall in very good condition for their age. Inside has a marching toy soldier calico. Each is 11.5"x7" closed and 11.5"x13.5" when open. Has Indian tanned hide ties. Could be worn on arms or legs.

162 - Plains Indian Beaded Hafted Stone Spear The lot features the end of a Plains Native American Indian spear. The spear shows a very large 8.25"L hafted flint stone spearhead rawhide wrapped to a carved wood broken handle. The handle shows Indian tanned hide with a red ocher dye having various glass trade pony beads, Buffalo Bison fur, and turkey feathers. The age of the piece is unknown. The overall length is 21.5"L. The spearhead is 2 3/8"W.

162a - South Dakota & Texas Ancient Arrowhead Collection The lot features three displays containing 42 ancient Neolithic artifacts from South Dakota and Texas. The Native American Indian artifacts include arrowheads, spearheads, bird points, knives, scrapers, and pottery shards. The first two cases were collected from the Preston Farm in Spink County, South Dakota. The last case was collected in Texas. Wonderful rare collection of early points. Each case is 6.25"x8.25" and 3/4" deep.

163 - Blackfoot Indian Rawhide Warrior Shield 20th C. The lot features a Blackfoot Native American Indian of Montana Rawhide warrior shield from the 20th century. The shield shows pigment mineral effigy painted accents along the front with an early antique red trade clothe fringed border. The shield painted accents feature six Elk hoof effigies with red and black lines. The piece is all sinew and rawhide constructed and displays wonderfully. Also features turkey feathers, a raccoon fur tail, metal trade bells, and an animal jaw. Overall good condition and measures 20"W x 38"H with top strap and fringe.

164 - Tibetan & Oriental Antique Carved Painted Masks The lot features three original antique carved wood and polychrome painted mask. The first is a Tibetan Himalayan carved wood mask with functioning jaw. Th lot also features a carved wood Oriental Panda Bear effigy mask with damaged ear and paint loss. Lastly available in this lot is an unknown origin carved wood mask with crude paint. Tibetan mask is 8.25"x7.25"x5". Panda is 8.75"x7.25"x4.75". Last mask is 7.5"x6"x3 5/8".

165 - Modern Replica Native American Indian Arrows (5) The lot features a collection of five replica Native American Indian arrows manufactured in the authentic style of various tribes locally in Bozeman, Montana. The first shows a Snake Indian c. pre-1840 style arrow (Wyoming, Idaho, Rocky Mountain area) with obsidian point. Next is an Apache c. pre-1800 style arrow with a white opalite stone point. Also included is a unique Klamath-Moduc Waterfowl arrow c. pre-1850 style showing two parts with a hardened wood tip and cone of pitch made to skip along water. Lastly shows two Sioux Indian c. 19th century style arrows with iron long arrowheads. All these arrows have excellent pigment mineral painted accents with feather fletching and show good condition. 166 - Blackfoot Montana Elk Antler Bowie Knife & Sheath This is a 20th century Blackfoot Native American Indian handcrafted bowie knife and leather sheath. The piece is from the Montana Blackfoot (Blackfeet) Indians and shows excellent craftsmanship. The bowie blade shows a pictorial hallmark signature on one side and is marked, "#63" on the other. The Rocky Mountain Elk Antler horn handle was made using the burr as the pommel and has a slight curve (which fits the hand very well). The sheath shows a sued black leather construction with long white fringe. Knife is 11.25"L with a 6.25"L blade. Knife and sheath (with fringe) is 19.25"L.

167 - Eskimo Inuit Beaded Moccasins with Beaver Ankle The lot features an Alaskan Eskimo Inuit Native American beaded moccasins with Beaver fur ankles. The 20th century moccasins show wonderful glass trade beads in a floral design along the top on Indian Tanned moose hide. The backs show a blue trade clothe construction. Overall good condition. 239 - Cree Beaded Moccasins C. 1900 This lot features a pair of Cree beaded moccasins circa 1900. The moccasins feature glass trade beads in a ornate bird design. The Cree are one of the largest groups of First Nations in North America, with over 200,000 members living in Canada. As hunter-gatherers, the basic unit of organization for Cree peoples were the lodge, a group of perhaps eight or a dozen people, usually the families of two separate but related married couples, who lived together in the same wigwam or tipi, and the band, a group of lodges who moved and hunted together. The moccasins are in good condition and show the correct amount of wear for there age. Measures: 9 1/4" L x 4" W x 3" H

259 - Japanese Netsuke Button Figures 19th C. The lot features a collection of nine carved Netsuke effigy figures from Japan in the 19th century. The pieces show the various different Japanese gods and are all in good condition. These all would have been used on the early Japanese Kimono or Kimono Sash as a button like tab that the wearer would have hung various belongings off of (Kimono's did not have pockets and so the wearer would use the Netsuke to hang various items from the piece). These are from the Late Edo Period to early Meiji Period. The largest is 2 3/8"L. These all appear to be in good condition. Please inspect the pictures for age, originality, and condition.

260 - WWII U.S. GI Made Japanese Shell Trench Art This Japanese artillery shell was captured and transformed into a what looks to be a creamer and engraved its quite impressively. There is a landscape of Bogainville island, which was the site of a large U.S. and Japanese Conflict in the pacific, along with a ship and several airplanes. The ship looks to be a Liberty ship and one of the planes is a P-38 with its distinctive twin tail. The detail is finely done and the scene is life like. 286 - Leonard Lopp Glacier Park Montana Painting This is an original Leonard Lopp oil on cardboard painting of Glacier National Park. Born in the late 1800's, Lopp became a well known artist that resided in Montana for most of his life. At one time, he was employed as an artist for Glacier National Park. 326 - Navajo Storm Pattern Wool Sampler Rug This lot features a Navajo Storm pattern wool sampler rug. A well-known Navajo rug style often associated with the western reservation, the Storm Pattern appears to have originated at the Crystal Trading Post. The trader there, J. B. Moore, published several catalogs and sales leaflets at the beginning of the twentieth century. His “Plate IX”, obviously a Storm Pattern but not labeled as such, was first printed between 1903 and 1911. The Storm Pattern is not built around a central diamond, but is a very recognizable geometric composition with a strong, often rectangular central element connected by diagonal stepped lines to elements in each of the four corners. This design is said to be highly symbolic and associated with the all-important rainstorms in the growing season. The sampler has vibrant colors. 350 - Hollywood Blonde Mink Jacket 1940-1950 This lot features a Hollywood blonde Mink jacket. The jacket was sold by the Bullocks department store in Southern California. Bullock's was founded in 1907 at Seventh & Broadway in downtown Los Angeles by John G. Bullock, with the support of The Broadway Department Store owner Arthur Letts. In 1923, Bullock and business partner P.G. Winnett bought out Letts' interest after his death and the companies became completely separated. In 1929 Bullock & Winnett opened a luxury branch on Wilshire Boulevard, named Bullock's Wilshire. Bullocks was know for its high quality merchandise. The knife is a model 110FG. Buck Knives Inc. dates it history back over 100 years to the first knives made by Hoyt H. Buck. Hoyt H. Buck became a blacksmith's apprentice in Kansas in 1899 at the age of 10. During his tenure Hoyt learned to make knives and in 1902 when he was 13, he developed a method of heat-treating the steel in hoes and other tools so they would hold an edge longer. 371 - Eagle Sketch Bronze Sculpture by Bob Scriver This is a rare original work of art bronze by the renowned Montana artist, Bob Scriver titled, "Eagle Sketch". The work of art features a great American Bald Eagle and is signed in the bronze limited number 187/350 circa 1980. Robert Macfie Scriver (1914-1999) was born in Browning, Montana (in the heart of the Blackfoot Indian Reservation) in 1914. Scriver began sculpting using taxidermy to learn his craft of making wildlife bronzes. By 1962 he became a charter member of the Society of Animal Artists, had been accepted into the prestigious Cowboy Artists of America, listed in Who's Who in American Art, and a member of the National Sculpture Society, and the National Academy of Western Art. This is a Lost Wax Bronze Casting and shows a walnut base. Sculpture measures overall 4.5"H x 4"W x 4"D. Bob Scriver bronzes have been valued at over $30,000-$50,000. He is believed to be "The Cowboy's National Sculptor" and one of the finest Montana bronze artists of the 20th century.
