1 - Very Rare Chinese Qing Period Watercolor Scroll 18th or 19th century, Imperial Qing period. massive scroll painted with exceptional detail and skill. signed many times. the sheer size and quality of workmanship makes this an incredibly important example of Qing period artistry. the painting measures 148" long by 10 3/4" high. total scroll measures 292" long to the end of the Characters. Private Collection of a Richmond, Virginia Family. Note: In as found condition, with no repairs detected.

2 - Fine Chinese Apple Green Jade & Diamond Pendant early 20th century. fine and brilliant apple green jade consisting of nineteen stones and seven diamonds, all housed in silver pendant figural tree branch. L3 1/2" H2 3/4" Note: This ring was a gift from Chiang Kai-Shek to WWII Colonel John Miller Arthur. Arthur led troops in the charge at the Guadalcanal; and was a friend of Chiang Kai-Shek and his wife.

3 - Exceptional Chinese Qing Carved Coral Kwan-yin 19th Century. very fine well-carved figure atop the back of a reclining chi lin. H7 5/8" W4 1/2" D1 5/8"

4 - Very Fine & Important Chinese Imperial Jade Ring Republic Period. 38.04 K translucent apple green jade stone set into platinum and diamond ring. round cut diamonds totaling approximately six K. ring with intricately crafted pierced detail and maters mark "JS" at interior. Note: This ring was a gift from Chiang Kai-Shek to WWII Colonel John Miller Arthur. Arthur led troops in the charge at the Guadalcanal; and was a friend of Chiang Kai-Shek and his wife.

Jug, in as found condition.

220 - Very Rare & Important Signed Southern Stonewarejug Edgefield, South Carolina, circa 1820. Pottersville, signed "A" at one side and "L" at opposing side for Dr. Abner Landrum. the ovoid form and rich runny glaze are exceptional. bearing "V" mark near foot, found in many examples at Potterville during the early period. highly important example and exceptional form and glaze with bold mark. Note: One of only two know examples marked clearly by Dr. Landrum. The other, originally part of the collection of Terry Ferrell, is now in the collection of MESDA. That example clearly exhibits the same A and L in Its inscription, as seen in photos. H8 3/4" W6 1/2" Handle has been broken and repaired, the only restoration to the piece. Some tight hairlines to spout no more than an inch long. Foot with expected wear and age. Overall good condition.
