- Rare 1882 Pattern Liberty Nickel. J-1690 - Pollock 1892. High Rarity 5. ICG Certified Proof-64. Sharply Struck. This design closely resembles the adopted "No Cents" design and is sometimes referred to as "regular dies," however, when compared to a regular issue, the placement of the stars is slightly different. We have seen recent offerings for upper grades for $10,000 or more.

- 1883 No Cents Liberty Nickel. Uncirculated. Gold plated racketeer in customer holder.

- Attractive Proof 1883 No Cents Liberty Nickels ICG Certified Proof-64. Shows strong cameo obverse devices and a few light specks.

- Choice Proof 1884 Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-64. Has some cameo contrast with a light haze. With some conservation, could very well end up in a Proof-65 holder.

- Terrific Gem Proof 1885 Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-65 Cameo. A very attractive example of this key issue with strong cameo devices and glittering mirrors.

- Key 1886 Proof Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-64. Needle sharp with satin luster. Perhaps a future Proof-65.

- Choice 1892 Proof Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-63. Shows a few small spots.

- Very Choice 1893 Proof Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-63. A real sleeper grade wise as it has the appearance of a Gem coin and after some expected conservation could possibly wind up with a Gem grade assigned.

- Key 1894 Proof Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-63. Shows a small mark on Liberty's cheek, which no doubt accounts for the assigned grade. Always in demand with date collectors as Mint State examples are not readily available.

- Proof 1895 Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-62. Shows a couple of small marks on Liberty's neck along with a couple of reverse specks.

- Choice Proof 1896 Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-63. Shows a few minor reverse flecks. Only 1,862 were minted.

- Near Gem 1897 Proof Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-64. Needle sharp with nice mirrors. Perhaps just a mark away from Gem.

- Choice Proof 1898 Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-63. Has a light haze and a small spot on the obverse cheek. After some conservation (i.e. dipping) this will be a blazing coin!

- Gem Looking 1899 Proof Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-64. Glittering surfaces with some light reverse specks.

- Satiny Proof 1900 Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-63. Sharp strike with a few minor specks. Very nice for the grade.

- Choice 1901 Proof Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-63. Shows a few more light spots than most in this offering, but sans those, would approach Gem quality.

- Choice Proof 1902 Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-63. Strong mirrors with a full strike.

- Value Graded 1903 Choice Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-64. A couple of minor flecks are the only real impairments found on this example. Perhaps another future Gem?

- Choice Proof 1905 Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-63. Shows a couple of small rim marks at around 8:00 on the reverse.

- Choice Proof-63 1906 Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-63. Sharp but with a good amount of reverse hairlining.

- Sleeper 1907 Proof Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-63. Brilliant with glittering mirrored fields. Though 1907 is nearly the highest mintage (barely eclipsed by the 1911) in business strikes, it's the lowest mintage (1,475 pcs) of all Proofs! Perhaps the availability of circulation strikes limited the Mint's orders for Proofs?

- Choice 1908 Proof Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-63. Shows some light toning and a few minor specks.

- Near Gem 1909 Proof Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-64. Shows satiny surfaces with no real distractions.

- Mint State 1910 Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified MS-61. Lustrous with a typical strike. The consignor didn't have an explanation why this coin was included in his set rather than a Proof!

- Choice Proof 1911 Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-63. Shows some cameo contrast and some minor specks but very little in the way of hairlines.

- Cameo Proof 1912 Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified Proof-63 Cameo. Has strong cameo contrast with excellent mirrored surfaces.

- Near Gem 1912-D Liberty Nickel. ICG Certified MS-64. Has nice lustrous mark free surfaces with one small reverse spot potentially all that is keeping this coin from Gem status.

- Key 1912-S Liberty Nickel. BU-60 and very lustrous. Shows evidence of a prior light cleaning. Just 238,000 were struck making this far and away the lowest mintage of all issued Liberty Nickels.

- Attractive Gem 1913 Type I Buffalo. PCI Certified MS-67. A very attractive example that if submitted to a more recognized service might drop a point or two, but we wouldn't be all that surprised if it kept the current grade!

- Lovely Gem 1913 Type I Buffalo. NGC Certified MS-66. Lovely color and excellent eye appeal.

- Rare 1918/7-D Buffalo Nickel. This piece has details which could be described as Extremely Fine though it has been acid treated. The overdate is very apparent and is slightly sharper than a similar example we sold in our November 2016 sale.

- Early Hobo Buffalo Nickel. Shows well detailed hair and beard with a simple hat and color. The date was removed at the time of the carving.

- 3 Better Buffalo Nickels. Includes 1918-D F-VF-18, 1919-D F-12, and a 1923-S F-VF-18. All are original and problem free. Total 3 pcs.

- Group Of Low Grade/Cull Shield Nickels. Grades range from Cull (coins with damage/corrosion, etc.) and About Good. All have discernable dates with several different dates represented including 1872. Total 12 pcs.

- Roll Of Circulated 1938-D Buffalo Nickels. Grades mostly Fine to Very Fine with a few ifs as well as a Very Good or two included. Though perhaps the most common Buffalo is Uncirculated, in Circulated it's far from it! Total 40 pcs.
