Own A Piece of American History!

Hall of Presidents & First Ladies Museum Auction: The Hall of Presidents and First Ladies Museum of Gettysburg, PA has closed after nearly 60 years of continuous operation.  The museum, viewed by more than one million people since 1957, contains one of the only complete wax figure collections of United States Presidents in the entire country. In early 2017 there will be an opportunity for the public to own a piece of this historic museum. Contents will include life-sized wax figures of all 44 Presidents of the United States and their First Ladies in 1/3 scale. The figures are dressed in their authentically recreated inaugural gowns. In addition, there will be associated pictures, displays, equipment and furniture. The museum was created in part to pay homage to one of Gettysburg’s most famous residents, the 34th President, Dwight David Eisenhower. His home and farm can still be visited today at the Eisenhower National Historic Site.

The auction will be held at the 1863 Inn of Gettysburg, 516 Baltimore Street Gettysburg PA. Previews of the collection will be held at the Hall of Presidents & First Ladies Museum at 789 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg PA on Sunday, January 8th from 12PM – 5PM and Thursday, January 12th from 4PM – 8PM. There will be a snow make-up date of Sunday, January 15th.
