CELLVOYAGER CV1000

The Yokogawa CellVoyager CV1000 is a self-contained bench-top confocal solution with integrated environmental control for live cell imaging. The CV1000 is equipped with the renowned Yokogawa spinning disk confocal scanhead – this system is equipped with dual Nipkow disk to provide the ability to optimize the disk pinhole size to match the magnification of the objective lens used for imaging. Yokogawa’s integration of microlenses in their Nipkow disk design greatly enhances sensitivity, thus reducing phototoxicity and photobleaching, which in combination with environmental control make the CV1000 an ideal solution for live cell imaging. OLYMPUS FV1200 IX83

The Olympus FV1200 laser point scanning confocal system in this configuration is integrated with the Olympus flagship IX83 fully motorized inverted microscope platform to provide a powerful and flexible system optimized for live cell confocal imaging. The confocal scanhead for this configuration is equipped for spectral detection, and comes with 3 standard alkali PMTs as well as a pair (2) of high-sensitivity GaAsP detectors – providing the potential to capture up to 5 fluorescent signals simultaneously. This system is also equipped with a transmitted light detector and DIC optics for simultaneously capturing a transmitted light image. This system is also equipped with the Olympus Simultaneous (SIM) scanner and dual fibre output laser combiner which provides a dedicated laser light path and dedicated set of galvanometer mirrors for photoactivation (PA), photobleaching (PB), and optogenetic stimulation of targeted discreet regions at the same as images are being collected. The IX83 is also equipped with the Olympus Zero Drift Compensation (ZDC) module, a laser based auto-focus solution to compensate for focal drift during long-term timelapse imaging.

OLYMPUS FV1000 IX81

The Olympus FV1000 laser point scanning system in this configuration is integrated with the Olympus IX81 fully motorized inverted microscope platform to provide a powerful and flexible system optimized for live cell confocal imaging. The confocal scanhead for this configuration comes equipped with 3 standard alkali PMTs – providing the potential to capture up to 3 fluorescent signals simultaneously. This system is also equipped with a transmitted light detector and DIC optics for simultaneously capturing a transmitted light image.

OLYMPUS FV300 BX61WI

The Olympus FV300 laser point scanning confocal system in this configuration is integrated with the Olympus BX61WI (water immersion) upright microscope – a favourite of the electrophysiology research community. The FV300 confocal scanhead is fully manual (dichroics, bandpass filters, pinhole size) making it an excellent instrument not only for imaging but also for teaching and labs requiring DIY modifications / optimizations.

OLYMPUS FV10I W3 (WATER VERSION 3)

The Olympus FV10i Water is a self-contained laser point scanning confocal with built in environmental control and is designed for ease of use and to allow for long term live-cell imaging - but the system will also easily accommodate traditional fixed sample imaging. The FV10i includes four built in solid state laser lines and two spectral PMTs allow for simultaneous imaging of up to 2 fluorescent channels (+ 1 transmitted light channel), or sequential imaging of up to 4 fluorescent channels (+ 1 transmitted light channel). The small system footprint and enclosed design makes this system ideal for labs with limited bench space and no dedicated imaging dark room.

OLYMPUS FV MPE-RS BX63LF DUO INSIGHT SPECTRA PHYSICS PULSED IR LASER

The Olympus FV MPE-RS system in this configuration is integrated with the Olympus BX63LF microscope that has been specifically designed for the RS system. A Spectra Physics Duo Insight laser provides two pulsed IR laser lines for greater wavelength discrimination when exciting multiple fluorophores. The MPE-RS system includes two scanning modes, a high-resolution scanning mode and a high-speed resonant scanning mode. Signal detection is provided by 2 Non-Descanned Detectors to pick up the EPI signal and an additional pair of NDDs positioned to pick up the transmitted signal. This system also includes several specialized upgrades from the standard MPE-RS system: Two additional Non-Descanned Detectors – for picking up signal from the “transmitted side” of the sample Visible laser combiner – for optogenetic stimulation Simultaneous Scanner (SIM) – used in concert with the visible laser combiner to provide stimulating light pulses at the same time as images are being collected Piezo nosepiece – for fast accurate acquisition of Z-stacks.

OLYMPUS FV1000 MPE2 BX61WI MAITAI HP DEEPSEE PULSED IR LASER

The Olympus FV1000 MPE system in this configuration is integrated with the Olympus BX61WI microscope. A Spectra Physics MaiTai HP DeepSee pulsed IR laser provides a wide tuning range for excitation of a wider range of fluorophores. Signal is acquired by 2 Non-Descanned Detectors. This configuration also includes a separate scanner and laser combiner for visible laser confocal imaging (1P) – thus providing two powerful imaging modalities in one system.
