From Tragedy to Triumph In Memory of Keith R. Meissner Sr.
Im never very good at being able to put my thoughts to words, but I want everyone to know how much it meant to me, my family and all of us at Meissners. As you know Sat., Dec.13th 2014 was the 1st anniversary of our barn fire and the loss of my husband, Keith Meissner Sr. and 4 of our horses.Your support for our Keith R. Meissner Sr. Memorial Auction was amazing. It was a true tribute to Keith Sr. and Im sure he must have been smiling.Because of your generosity, Keiths greatest sacrifice in trying to save his horses will continue to save many more abandoned/abused horses.Due to that support, together we raised a little over$19,000 for Little Brook Farm,501cwww.thelittlebrookfarm.orgI know that Lynn Cross, Little Brook Farm and I are very thankful for what you were able to accomplish that night.
You truly have helped to turn our tragedy into a triumph, but more importantly that Keith R. Meissner Sr. will never be forgotten. He died a hero but he was always a hero to me.I always said, He was a Legend in his own mind Now he will always be one
