Sorry for the confusion. The link in the previous post, was the word Entertainment. <-- Here it is again. Make sure you've logged in first and then click on the word "Entertainment", and it will take you to the post in the Auctioneer Forum, where you'll find a similarly "disguised" link to my response. It's not actually disguised, but it's just like clicking a link on most other websites (the link is coded within the text or word).

I certainly know what you mean about "peeling bananas", as you likely saw from my responses to this guy, after watching Lyn tactfully try to get this guy to understand the differences. I finally, couldn't take anymore, and of course, let him know "the truth" (as he requested others to share their opinions)... and since I was a bit fed up with his delusional ramblings, I certainly didn't hold back on exposing his hypocrisy by adding a bit of my own sarcasm. I guess I hit a nerve, as I gave him a dose of his own medicine, although he only saw things from his perspective and felt I was the only one lacking in civility. You just can't reason with some people, no matter how hard you try... and when you meet them on their own terms, they are usually the first to cry "foul." Oh well... ;)

I completely agree with Lynn. As a licensed auctioneer I run one of the oldest internet/catalog auctions in the country and my firm as well as myself are licensed as auctioneers. I feel that if you want to call yourself an auction you need to be licensed and regulated more so to level the playing field for all auction websites. I have seen many "internet auctions" come and go for many reasons like not paying their consignors and none are regulated so the consignor and buyer have no recourse if something goes wrong. If they were licensed they could go use state law to take action.
Just my two cents,
