Packing and Shipping
We do all of our own, in house shipping. Most small items will be able to fit into a large USPS flat rate package (about the size of a basketball) which costs approximately $15.00 coast to coast. To this we add a signature confirmation, $2.35 and insurance which will run $4.00 and up depending on price. We add an additional 10% to the overall shipping charges which will round out an average of $25.00 per package give or take. If the item is smaller, we will ship in a smaller package which will cost less, if the item is bigger or needs double boxed, it will cost more. We do not gouge on shipping. More often than not, we end up under charging the buyer. We are very good at estimating shipping costs so we may finalize the transaction and get your item in the mail to you. Most items are shipped well within (4) days of auctions close. Keep in mind, whatever we charge is a LOT cheaper than any pack and ship company will charge you and I assure you, the items will be packed with the utmost care considering their unique nature. We are very good shippers. Of course, items of considerable size, fragility, and unusual nature that would fall outside the scope of our in house shipping resources will be directed to a professional packer / shipper after consulting with the buyer.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
*****PLEASE NOTE - LOTS WILL BE ADDED ALL NEXT WEEK! KEEP CHECKING BACK!****
The terms and conditions of The Pocono Auction Gallery on line bidding portion of our regularly scheduled auction are posted here. They are very clear. Read them, understand them and make yourself comfortable with the fact that you must accept them before you attempt to register to bid at our auctions.

First, I'll say a little about us and our company. We are a small auction gallery with a big heart and we work very hard at what we do. We conduct business in a very fair and equitable manner. We are not perfect by any means, and sometimes, but not very often, we make a mistake. We strive to perform to the very best of our professional abilities and by most accounts, do so on a regular basis. We like to live by the Golden Rule, which, for those of you who may have forgotten goes like this: "Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You". So, with that being said, I'll outline the terms and conditions that you, the bidder are to be aware of and are hereby bound to abide by.

Payment:

We accept Visa / Mastercard only for internet bidders. We DO NOT accept paypal, checks or wire transfers. The credit card that you register with will be the card we charge immediately after the auction, no exceptions. Your card will be charged the hammer price plus all buyers premiums, applicable PA state sales tax for PA residents without a resale certificate, and shipping charges. Your invoice will clearly reflect all of these charges.

Shipping:

We do all of our own, in house shipping. Most small items will be able to fit into a large USPS flat rate package (about the size of a basketball) which costs approximately $15.00 coast to coast. To this we add a signature confirmation, $2.35 and insurance which will run $4.00 and up depending on price. Bidding:

We will strive to have our on line catalog in place for ample viewing and bidding prior to the auction day. During this time all bidders must examine the lots carefully. If you have any questions about a particular item, you are encouraged to contact us PRIOR TO PLACING YOUR BID and do not wait until 8:00 pm the night before the sale. Keep in mind…your bid is A BINDING CONTRACT. There will be no allowances for a misplaced bid, key stroke error, buyers remorse or any other number of excuses. We will do our very best to answer questions about the lots in our auctions. DO NOT contact us the day of the sale, auction day is busy and we will not under any circumstances entertain questions about items in the catalog. If you are planning on leaving a bid and not participating in the live auction, I would encourage you to bid your very best.

Condition Report:

All lots are sold AS IS and there will be NO RETURNS BASED ON CONDITION. The printed conditions in the catalog entry are OPINION ONLY and are provided for guidance only, without legal obligation. Subsequently, if a prospective buyer has not examined the property to their satisfaction before the sale, or his / her agent has not inspected the property, THE POCONO AUCTION GALLERY RECOMMENDS THAT THEY NOT BID ON THE PROPERTY. Additionally, the items sold are often of considerable age and will exhibit wear, usage, and damage often NOT LISTED IN THE CATALOG ENTRY. The absence of condition remarks in the catalog entry DOES NOT MEAN THE ITEM IS IN PERFECT CONDITION. Again, prospective buyers are in ALL CASES responsible for determining the physical condition of lots as there are NO RETURNS based on condition. That was pretty clear.....

We run a straight, honest auction. All items are sold without reserve or minimum bid. The items in the catalog are often only a part of the overall sale which you can view at Auctionzip ID#5252. If you see something else in the sale and would like to leave an additional bid, feel free to contact us and we will be glad to help you out. Thanks again for considering bidding with Pocono Auction Gallery!

Payment for on line bidding is by Visa or Mastercard ONLY. We do not accept any other forms of payment for these auctions.

As you can see, some of these items are brand new in their original boxes, others had been displayed and are dusty and show other signs of being openly displayed for that period of time. Some may have been repaired or restored to some extent, though we tried very hard NOT to include those items in the cataloged portion of this auction. Nor did we include any items with any visible CONSIDERABLE damage. Consider the fact that most items will need a good cleaning at least, and some loving restoration at best. None of these items have been tested for functionality. We have tried to lot this collection in very good, equitable lots for your bidding pleasure. Please examine the photos carefully and ask any specific questions before bidding. These are after all, toys. They were made to be played with. We are all lucky that this collection was so carefully assembled and is now coming back to the market and we have done our very best to preserve the spirit in which it was collected. Remember...all sales are FINAL. Thanks and GOOD LUCK!!
