TERMS OF SALE:
Homestead Auctions has tried to accurately describe all items being sold, but all items herein offered for sale is strictly "as is" and its the bidder's responsibility whether bidding in person, by mail, email, or by telephone to determine the exact condition of each item. No statement of any advertisement, bill of sale, invoice, or by any representative of Homestead Auctions shall be deemed to be a warranty, representation or assumption of liability to the age, condition, size, quality, variety, importance or historical relevance toward any of these items for sale. Any such statements are strictly matters of opinion only.
PAYMENT TERMS: Payment may be made by cash(In House Only), Bank cashiers check, money order, personal check, Visa, Mastercard, NO PAYPAL. International Payments (No Checks, Only Credit Cards. All Payment is due upon receipt. If the buyer’s invoice is not paid in full within 15 days of the auction, Homestead Auctions. has the right and will charge the buyer’s credit card of record on file for the total invoice amount. Interest will be charged on all balances not paid at the rate of 1-1/2% monthly (18% APR) effective 15 days from the date of purchase/auction. Should the buyer not comply with any of the Conditions of Sale, the damage recoverable from the defaulter shall include any loss arising on the resale of the lot, together with the charges and expenses in respect of both sales as well as any legal or collection fees incurred. Each returned check is subject to a $50.00 service charge.
BUYER'S PREMIUM – The buyer’s premium shall be the standard 15% of the final bid price which will be applied to each lot sold to be paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price, 3% also will be added as part of the transaction fee, this goes to Artfact.

ABSENTEE BIDDING: All absentee bids will be executed in a orderly and competitive manner. We will do our best to buy it at the lowest possible price regardless of price. If by chance there are tied absentee bids on the same item, the first one received will get priority bidding. In the event of the same bids from online, the preference will be given to the attending audience. All absentee bids must have a set price.
PHONE BIDS - At the discretion of the auctioneer, phone bidding may be arranged on more expensive items, (i.e. $500 or more). In order to make arrangements to bid on the telephone at the time a lot is being sold, you must contact our office in advance of the auction. We will make arrangements to call you just prior to the lot being sold so that you may bid over the telephone. There are usually a limited number of phone lines available into the room, so if you wish to bid over the telephone, it is important for you to make your arrangements early.
Telephone bids must be arranged by 12:00 p.m. EST, the day prior to the auction. Absentee bids are accepted up to two hours prior to the start of the auction (we will accept bids in person up to sale time). We are not responsible for errors or unexecuted Absentee or Telephone Bids
