Philadelphia; Carey and Lea, 1818 - 1825. 2 Volumes. 10.5" x 8.5". 50 hand-colored plates. Period 1/2 morocco over decorative paper boards.
  • Condition: Boards detached, leather well worn, leather to spine of volume 2 mostly chipped away, foxing and toning to text, but most plates clean with some mild toning and off-setting in places. Period gift inscriptions on titles.
  • Notes: First edition of volume 2, Second edition of volume 1. Contains 50 hand-colored plates of American flora.
