Description: Chinese Export Gilded Filigree Silver and Enamel Tea Caddy, late 19th c., each of the hexagonal lobes decorated with birds on a flowering branch defined in colored enamel and turquoise and coral stone accents, the conforming lid with a floral finial and decorated en suite, the base stamped "silver," H.- 6 1/2 in., Dia.- 4 in.
  • Condition: Condition consistent with age. No major loss or damage. Some color variation throughout the gilded filigree on the caddy and the lid. Minor dent on one side of the lip on the caddy (not visible when covered by lid). Some petals are bent on the floral finial on the lid. Purplish ring around the bottom interior surface of the caddy.
