Condition / Notes: Scarce edition of this children's classic, with 1901 date and F-E notation on copyright page, with illustrations by Peter Newell.

Antique volume is bound in black cloth, with greenish yellow lettering to spine and color pastedown on front cover showing Alice and rabbit. Book shows external wear, with several small tears at foot of spine and another tear on rear edge of spine, near its head. Pastedown is complete. Binding is beginning to crack between color frontispiece and title page. Pages are clean and crisp. All called-for plates are present.
