Chiropractor by day, auctioneer every other waking moment, Pippa Chapman has embraced the auction industry as her own. Recognizing very quickly that the Auction Industry was on the brink of major changes due to the internet, Pippa began learning everything she could about online auctions and internet bidding. Today, Specialty Auctions is striving to become Southwest Virginia's best source of Internet Based Auctions.
In addition, Specialty Auctions is living up to its name. "We build auction events, designing them around themes that attract a specific kind of bidder to the particular collection we are offering. It takes more time, extensive research and close attention to detail to build these types of auctions, but we believe the results are well worth the extra effort."
Pippa Chapman graduated from Mendenhall School of Auctioneering in February 2005. She received her designation as a NAA Certified Estate Specialist in June 2007. Dr. Chapman is also seeking designation as a Certified Gemologist from the International School of Gemology. She has conducted general merchandise auctions, real estate auctions, benefit auctions and numerous online Specialty Auctions.
