Tom Patterson is a Professional Auctioneer and Texas Realtor® and has travelled throughout Texas and across the United States over the past 10 years selling real estate both at auction and conventionally. Having sold practically every type of property, Tom is experienced in selling recreational land, ranch land, farm land, development land, investment homes, trophy properties, and commercial real estate. Tom says his favorite type of real estate is rural land and favorite type of auction is Multi-Parcel land auctions. “My goal is to pursue the land auction business and at some point in my career be conducting rural land auctions every Friday throughout the State of Texas.” This method allows buyers and sellers to quickly identify the lands highest and best use, and establish a current market price through a competitive bidding environment. Although Tom has traveled from Terlingua to Texarkana conducting land auctions, as a 15+ year resident of Bryan/College Station and a licensed Texas Realtor, Tom brings his real marketing expertise to local clients with Lifestyle real estate properties including premier homes and ranches. Tom’s local market area includes Brazos County, Robertson County, Milam County, Burleson County, Madison County, Grimes County, Washington County, and other areas within about 100 miles of Bryan & College Station, TX.
Tom and his wife Laura, son Kyle, and daughter Emme enjoy country living on their farm in Kurten, Texas where they raise horses, grow hay, and shoot sporting clays. Tom holds a Business / Finance degree from Texas A&M University, and holds the prestigious CAI (Certified Auctioneers Institute) designation, which is held by less than 5% of all auctioneers. Tom is an Elder at his church and also serves as auctioneer for many charities including Scotty’s House, MCS OPAS, Brazos Valley Arts Council, and multiple Christian Schools.
