After a 25-year career in fighting fire, with the last 9 years spent as Fire Chief of the Department, Cotton retired in 2002. After retirement, he attended the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering receiving his SCAL in 2002.
Cotton is as passionate about his auctioneering business as he was about his career in fire fighting. Cotton feels blessed to have had two careers he truly enjoys. He likes to say he, 'sells everything from bubble gum to real estate.'
