Ohio Auctioneer Receives “Certified Estate Specialist” Designation

Russells Point, OH Professional Auctioneer Robert Wayne Gilroy recently attended the 2008 Auctioneers Fall Seminar in Worthington, OH sponsored by the Ohio Auction Commission and facilitated by the Ohio Auctioneers Association. A 24 hour course of study was presented to the group to attain the CES designation. The instructor was veteran auctioneer Jack Christy CAI, GPPA, CES & BAS of Christys of Indiana. The attendees learned to market their services to professionals (CPA’s, trustees, tax attorneys, financial planners, etc.) who deal with Estates. After passing a comprehensive test the Auctioneers were bestowed the CES designation. The CES designation program is a part of the National Auctioneers Association Education Institute.

Gilroy has been serving the public since 1988 specializing in Estates, antiques & collectibles. He also does specialty auctions featuring Hunt, Fish & Trap items as well as Longaberger Baskets. He also does Charity Auctions by request.
