Ragtime Toys is a collaborative effort of 50 years of fine toy collecting experience. Our Premier auction will show diversity and some German tin toy rare toys from private collection. A rare Britains 2 tier set #73 completely mint in the box will be a highlight of the toy soldiers portion of the auction.
In addition, a truly one of a kind store display of large carved toy Revolutionary War soldiers from the Philadelphia Strawbridges Dept. Store will be sold. These nearly 50 original soldiers were commissioned by the store some 60 years ago for a large Independence Day window display with Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington centered around the Declaration of Independence! Each soldier is appointed in the uniform of his respective division and rank and each one is unique.
