The roots of West Central Insurance and Real Estate began in the early 1970's when Jerry Winter returned to Cass County after graduating with a BS Degree in Real Estate and Insurance from the University of Arkansas. He accepted an appointment as MFA Insurance Representative of the Garden City Area. In the mid 1970's, Jerry became an independent agent specializing in Ag Crop Insurance. In the mid 1980's, Jerry acquired a Real Estate Brokers license and was a broker sales person for Buerge Realty.
Upon completing his BS Degree from Northwest Missouri State University in 1992, and Worldwide College of Auctioneering in March of 1993, Jason returned to the family business. In 1994, together we opened West Central Real Estate and Insurance and West Central Auction Co. in Archie, MO. In 1998, West Central Insurance joined forces with Brooke Financial Insurance and opened an office in Harrisonville. In 2000, West Central Real Estate became CENTURY 21 West Central Real Estate. These two changes greatly increased our ability to serve the insurance and real estate needs of our local community while remaining a locally owned company. April 2001, we moved our office from Landmark Plaza to our present location at 601 South Independence, in Harrisonville, MO. In 2004, Jason received his AARE Accreditation
