Eric Iman is a 3rd generation auctioneer, specializing in Estates, Antiques, and Distinguished Real Estate auctions.
Eric's grandfather, Cleve Iman, founded Iman Auction Company, after returning from the Pacific theater of World War II, in 1947. Over the years, Iman Auction Company has become Central Missouri's premier provider of estate and antique auction services.
Ben Iman, Eric's father, took over the helm of Iman Auction Company in 1985 and continues to lead the company, conducting 80 to 100 auctions per year. Notable auctions over the last 25 years include the Carl Portwood Collection, Columbia, MO; the Maureen Agnew Estate, Paris, MO; the Jack Murphy Estate, Brookfield, MO; the Lansaw Collection, Quapaw, OK; the 13-day Heath Estate, Columbia, MO; and the $4.25M Tracey Trust Land Auction.
Eric and his wife relocated to St. Louis after serving 2 years in the U. S. Peace Corps in Choibalsan, Mongolia (2005-2007). Now operating from their base in the Livestock Exchange Building, in the Historic West Bottoms of Kansas City, Missouri, Eric and company conduct both live and online auction in both Missouri and Kansas.
Eric has over 20 years of experience as a professional auctioneer. A graduate of the University of Missouri, he has served on the Missouri Professional Auctioneers Association board of directors, is a member of the Certified Appraisers Guild of America, and is licensed to sell both personal property and real estate.
