At the age of 12, she found herself at her first auction. The auctioneer was exciting, entertaining, and seemed to be able to get anyone to buy anything from a left handed hammer to candles that burned at both ends. That was the most famous auctioneer out of St. Mary's County, MD, Rodney Thompson. She knew then that auctions were going to be in her future. With a lot of help and encouragement from her family as well as the Thompson Family, she became an auctioneer and learned about all of the other aspects of the business as well.
At the age of 16, she traveled to High Point, North Carolina to the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering with her parents and has been auctioneering for companies like Homestead Auction Company (Rodney and his family) and the Chesapeake Auction Company ever since. She has ventured out on her own for some exciting auctions and will be sure to show you a great buying experience.
This lady Colonel will not disappoint you when comes to auctioneering.
