Ken has been diagnosed with liver cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. His friends have organized a fundraising benefit for him to help with medical expenses. Activities will begin at 4:00pm that day. Events include a silent auction from 4:00pm till 6:30pm. There will clowns, facepainting,a magican, karoke, a talent show, all kinds of great food and a meal plus much more. A live auction will be held at 7:00pm that night. Many items have already been donated for this auction with many more still coming in. A complete list of sale items will be posted at a latter date. Folks, we have been overwhelmed with donations for this benefit. We have many gift certificates from area businesses for our silent auction along with clothing items, household goods, home decor, collectibles and more. Some of the items for our live auction include a Kent Herbeck autographed baseball bat, Minesota Wild tickects, John Deere collectibles and merchandise, afgans, new furniture(including a beautiful custom made barnwood bookshelf), custom made home decor items, new dollhouse wardrobe, plus antique clocks and other collectible items that were owned by Kenny himself. Donations are still coming in on a daily basis and will be accepted up to the day of the benifit so who knows how much more and what else we may have come auction day.This is definately a must attend benefit and auction.
