We have up for auction this Friday night, the first ever NH and the first ever Modern (lottery ticket) in the United States, New Hampshire Sweepstakes ticket #0000001 sold on March 12th, 1964. This ticket was sold to Governor John W King by Lou Smith of Rockingham Park. This was the birth of what we know know as the Lottery. It was given to a family relative from the estate and now up for auction. It was appraised in 2007 by Scott J. Winslow. He specializes in autographs and historical documents and Americana. Lots of furniture arrived from Mannatuck N.Y. including an East Lake Bed and Mirrored bureau in great condition. We have some other great furniture, collectibles, art that just came in books in box lots, and other great stuff for the taking. Join us for another Friday night at the auction.
