GEORGIE'S BEGINING: George Pocheptsov was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1992 to Ukrainian parents. When George was 11 months old, his mother gave him a pencil and some paper to keep him busy. At 17 months old, he drew a remarkable replica of an antique car parked across the street. At an age where most children had barely graduated from finger painting, George was drawing jesters, pregnant women, and four-headed giraffes, all in luminescent colors. He started to paint 6 months before he started to talk.

GEORGIE'S ART: His perception of life is his own. It is a magic world of angels, and monsters, birds, animals and fish, filled with love and happiness. Completely self-taught, George is often compared by the press to a young Picasso or Chagall. He speaks Russian, Ukrainian, and English and his paintings now sell for up to $100,000 – but an ordinary day, George is just like any other 15 year old boy, anxious to play video games with his friends, or to finish a math assignment he does not like.
Picasso once said that, as a child, he could paint like an adult, but it took him a lifetime to paint like a child. For many art experts, Georgie is, without question, a child prodigy. Regardless, this young man has a unique and exceptional talent
