Art enthusiasts & collectors won't want to miss this auction! One of the major highlights of this auction is the Thomas Watson Ball collection. Thomas Watson Ball is an Old Lyme, CT school alumni & listed reknowned Connecticut artist. We will be featuring over 15 pieces of Mr. Ball's best work to include, the much anticipated very large, 30 x 40" (matter of fact one of his largest known works in existance) oil painting titled, "Chinese Twilight". Along with the Thomas W. Ball collection, we will also host a bevy of other listed artist's work in this auction. More details on these works & artist's soon to follow!
Other highlights include a spectacular ship's diorama, many antique clocks, a signed portrait on ivory, an unusual and curious prohibition desk, Cherry Stickley furniture, an exceptional and large early country pine display cabinet, over 15 luxurious Persian rugs, many fabulous smalls, and we're just cracking the surface of this mega estate!
