Dealers and the public are always welcome, and we NEVER charge a buyers premium!
Oak Barrel Auction is a family auction that's sure to be a favorite for everyone! We get a huge selection of different types of merchandise every weekend and if we had any more fun, we'd be arrested! We bend over backwards to make our sale the most fun, the most honest, and the easiest auction to attend. No high pressure tactics, no pushy floor-help nor grouchy cashiers, just good merchandise and good times. The auctioneer (David M. Allen II) has an irreverant sense of humor and does his best to make every auction memorable. We guarantee everything that we sell (except for furniture, table deals, and items that are specifically stated as being sold "as is") so you can bid with confidence. If you get something home from our sale and it doesn't work, just bring it back in with your ticket and we (the auction house) WILL REFUND YOUR MONEY!!! We've got a better guarantee than Wal-Mart, as we don't require proof of ID, zip-codes, blood-types, etc.
Be sure to bring your appetite to the sale, as our Snack Bar just can't be beat! The snack bar is also under new management, so you're sure to find lots of great new selections. The Reubens are great, the milk-shakes ROCK, and the chicken-salad is TO DIE FOR! YOU'LL LOVE IT ALL!!!!
We're open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, starting @ 7:00 pm and we'd love to have you join our extended family, so come on in and see us!
!DON'T LET ANYONE GET OVER ON YOU!
Some auctions have bad reputations, and some of them deserve them. There are laws protecting you as a consumer in an auction. If you feel that you've been treated poorly or even illegally in an auction, DON'T STAND FOR IT!!! You have rights as a consumer, regardless of the market. If you feel that an auction is 'bumping bids' (using made-up bidding numbers to up the prices), you have the right at any auction to stop the proceedings and find out who is bidding against you. If you feel that you've been cheated at an auction, call the Tennessee Auctioneers' Commission and report them. Or skip the whole scenario and just come see me. I WON'T do you wrong.
