The Antique Market emphasizes top quality antiques, requiring all antiques to be pre-1960, and reproductions are not allowed. It’s an understatement to say the Antique Gallery knows its antiques. Gallery manager, Chuck Haarer, is also the manager of the Shipshewana Miscellaneous and Antique Auction, held every Wednesday, year round, on the grounds of the Shipshewana Flea Market. The weekly auction draws vendors and buyers from across the country, and has up to 10 auction rings selling at one time.
A drawing will be held around 2pm for gift certificates in the amounts of $200, $100, & $50, and winners must be present at the time of the drawing. Food will be available on the Gallery grounds. There is no admission charge for either the Antique Market or the town-wide Antique Festival. The Gallery is just two blocks south of the historic downtown shopping area, which will host events and specials all day long.
