Public Auction Sale of Garden Furniture, Frames and Related Decorative Arts
sold pursuant to the order, dated April 10, 2008, of the US Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of New York.
On June 7th, Stair Galleries conducts the first auction of goods from the collection
consisting of 17th – 19th century furnishings from the 71st Street gallery including a mid -18th century Rococo painted gilt-wood console table and a fine selection of frames. Notable among the items on auction is a large group of architectural and garden ornament including a pair of terracotta urns with snake-form handles attributed to Mark Henry Blanchard.
The preview begins May 24th. A preview schedule will be posted online along with a fully illustrated on line catalogue.
