Join us here at Foothills Auction barn every first Saturday of the month for a live horse and tack auction. We begin the auction at 3:00 p.m. with used tack, then we have new tack, saddles, carts, and sometimes hay. At 6:00 we auction horses, mules, and ponies.

Call ahead numbers are availabe. Overnight stabling and next day pick up is no problem. We can also provide riders if needed. We have a large round pen for you to use.

We have several tack dealers so the customer is offered a variety of new and used items.

Our horse and tack auction was established in 1994 and we have been in our new barn a couple of years and everything is new and updated such as: indoor bathrooms, a large ring, ample seating, credit card machine, and friendly service. 

Concessions are available, as well as cold and hot drinks of all kinds. Cookie's kitchen offers home cooking that is made fresh to order.

Our auction is very family oriented. Being horse owners ourselves we feel we offer a better quality of horse stock and tack. So bring the whole family and come be with us. We are located just half a mile off of highway 221 in the Forest City ,NC area.

We are proud to be the sponsors of a free horse camp these past two years for children, sponsor of a free horse club, and advertisers in most community programs.
