Featuring estate of Maxine Louise Jenkins 1919 - 2008 long time Cumming, Ga resident and daughter of A W Williams local Methodist pastor. Ms. Jenkins was a Freedom Foundation Award Winner issued by President Nixon. She was a graduate of Young Harris College and taught in Atlanta’s Cascade Heights School-system. She was also an avid tennis player with the Alta Ladies Tennis League. An extra special highlight from the Jenkin's estate is an elegant Brambach baby grand piano (pictured below) which she enjoyed for many years! We believe this piano was manufactured in 1929? This Brambach baby grand piano features a ribbon mahogany case and is sure to enhance the decor of any metro Atlanta home for many years to come!

Already consigned a fantastic 44 1/2" bronze fountain sculpture of a woman standing in a shell holding a fish with a bird perched on her raised arm with another fish and a detailed cupid at her feet. This sculpture decorated an Atlanta area home for many years and still retains it's natural patina. Other highlights include a model train collection from South Carolina with many cars in the original boxes including Lionel, Civil War era photo album which includes several CDV's featuring soldiers, large 3 door burl walnut armoire with serpentine front, oak mirrored bar, oak arts and crafts library table, oak drop front desk with leaded glass, large leaded glass window with arched top, clocks, lamps, Victorian marble top lamp tables, Victorian marble top dressers, round oak table, early dovetailed blanet box with till, oak drop leaf dining table, set of 4 press back chairs with serpent decor (one damaged), mahogany serpentine dressers, ribbon mahogany chest, contemporary curio cabinet, contemporary oak roll top desk, Victorian marble top dressers, Victorian marble top lamp tables, several oak washstands, art including oil paintings, prints by R. I got back to Cumming from my trip north Monday night. As planned I brought a large load of antique furniture back with me. However because of the quanity of furniture that arrived while I was away. Plus furniture that I picked up Tuesday (I finished picking up the Jenkin's estate Tuesday night at about 11:00PM). I may need to wait for the next auction to unload most of the Northern load as we already have over 600 lots of antiques, collectibles and furniture consigned for our July 4th auction? Please note that I plan to post additional pictures to the photo album today!

We start our holiday antique auctions with quality antiques at 1:00PM. At around 1:30PM we sell antique furniture. Our auctioneer sells at a rapid pace with most holiday auctions lasting over 5 hours.
