Since their first auction in 1993, Stout Auctions has gained renowned in leading the industry dealing with the highest quality model trains and holds the world record price for a single train set sold in a public auction setting after over 20 years of experience in getting the most money for the highest quality trains. Almost every significant piece of Lionel history that has been offered at public auction has been through Stout Auctions. Stout Auctions specialize in large and small estate auctions, but also accepts exceptional items from individuals. Stout Auctions offers everything from classic prewar and postwar Lionel or the colorful tinplate toys of the '30s, to modern trains from Lionel, MTH, K-Line, 3rd Rail and more. Stout Auctions also continues to lead the auction field in G scale, HO brass, American Flyer S gauge, and Railroadiana, along with Marx and Ives models. If it's related to toy trains, you'll find it at Stout Auctions.

In 2001 Stout Auctions set up their current primary location in Williamsport, Indiana, a 12,000 square foot facility optimally designed for the display and sale of toy trains. Often complimented with being comparable to a toy train museum, the facility is well lit, clean, climate controlled, and fully secured also with dedicated areas for shipping, cataloging, and photographing the collections offered. With a secondary location easily accessible by interstate or airport now in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania since 2005, Stout Auctions has expanded to serve even more serious hobbyists and investors.
