Wayne Addison is a second generation auctioneer, the son of W.B. Addison. W.B. began his auction business in 1966. W.B. had the pleasure of working and learning the auction business from Dave Kessler, the great auctioneer from New Paris, Ohio. The lessons learned from Dave continue with the Addison Auction business today. W.B. died in 2004, however remains a pivital part of Another Addison Auction. Wayne became a licensed auctioneer in 1979. Third generation auctioneer Kyle Addison joined the business in 2007. Wayne and Kyle had the pleasure of attending the World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa and graduated together in June 2007. Kyle Addison is a Deputy Sheriff with Hancock County Sheriff's Department and Wayne is Chief Probation Officer in Hancock County. Kyle has been working as a contract auctioneer for several other auctioneers and is always willing to work when needed. Another Addison Auction conducts several auctions each year doing mostly estate and guardianship work in the Hancock County, Indiana area, along with approximately 40 benefit auctions each year for Rotary, Cancer society, Churches, Schools, Hancock County 4-H, assisting sick and injured citizens. We are a family business and invite all of you to join our family at the auctions.
Old Time Country Auction Indiana State Fair - Pioneer Village Saturday August 22, 2015 10:00 A.M. This annual Auction will be held the last Saturday of the Indiana State Fair. We will start outside at 10:00 A.M. with all kinds of Country Antiques and farm items. At 12:00 Noon, we will go inside and begin selling dozens of craft items made by the Craftsmen at Pioneer
