Amberleigh Wankel

Amberleigh graduated from Nashville Auction School in February 2005 at the age of 19. As a member of the Virginia Auctioneers Association, in January 2006 she placed in the VAA's Rookie Auctioneer Contest and the following August became the first woman and the youngest contestant to win the VAA's State Auctioneers Championship. Involved in the auction business since age 16, she has had extensive experience as a professional auction clerk, 3 years of which were spent at Fredericksburg's Manheim automobile auctions. She has helped conduct charity auctions in Maryland and Virginia, and has conducted live and online estate, personal property, and antique auctions. Over the 20 years she has been in the auction profession she has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education at local and national auctioneer conferences. She has also served on the judging panel for the Maryland State Auctioneers Championship, organized the Virginia State Auctioneers Championship for 2007 and served as a director on the board of the Virginia Auctioneers Association.
