Anita and I started like many others 35yrs ago, buying and selling antiques at local flea markets and shows.During that time we also worked for local auctioneers, starting as floor help and work our way up to floor managers. In the late 80's when Fred Clark a local auctioneer retired, we filled the void and started our own auction business and as they say "the rest is history".Both Anita and I are rotarians,also have Four early cars a 1909 ihc highwheeler,a 1929 model A roadster, 1929 AA truck and a 1962 VW Karmann Ghia Conv.( Ernie worked for VW in the late 60's early 70's) We are also Collectors of Titanic items, were members of the 1996 expedition to raise a piece of the hull, which we enjoy sharing with others through talks to local groups www.eldridgetitanic.com |
