Martin's began his career as a Cattle Auctioneer/Farm & Ranch Auctioneer in 1973 from South Dakota. He relocated to Arizona in 1987. Martin has conducted multi-owner auctions both commercial, residential, and resort from Florida to California. He has served as an officer and director for local, state REALTOR organization.
